At the heart of the SF90 Spider lies a sophisticated hybrid powertrain, A 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine with three electric motors—two on the front axle and one on the rear—delivering a combined output of 986 horsepower through an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission giving it a 0–60 mph in just 2.5 seconds and on to  211 mph (340 km/h). With an electric range of up to 24 km (15 miles) on electric power alone.  This powertrain enables the SF90 Spider to deliver exceptional performance, with instant torque delivery from the electric motors enhancing acceleration and responsiveness at any speed.

The Assetto Fiorano package is an optional upgrade that transforms the SF90 Spider into a more agile and track-capable machine. With Multimatic shock absorbers and titanium springs replace the standard adaptive dampers, offering improved handling and responsiveness along with use of lightweight materials, including carbon fibre components, reduces the car's weight, enhancing performance.  A high-downforce carbon fiber rear spoiler generates additional downforce, improving stability at high speeds. Wearing Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires provide maximum grip and traction, allowing drivers to exploit the SF90 Spider’s full potential on the track.
