The car includes a prominent rear wing and front splitter, which contribute to increased downforce at high speeds. The 997.1 GT3 RS is powered by a naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat-six engine, producing approximately 415 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque. It features a high-revving design, reaching up to 8,400 RPM. The engine is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, emphasizing driver engagement and control.
The GT3 RS can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in about 4.2 seconds and has a top speed of around 190 mph (305 km/h). It also features a stiffer suspension setup compared to the standard GT3, with upgraded shock absorbers and springs, improving handling on the track.
